One Milestone at a time!  

Well 2023 was quite a year for things expedited and all things trucking. A lot of owner operators and small fleets went out of business in 2023 due to several reasons. We are proud to say we stayed Soko Strong in 2023 despite historically low rates in the sprinter van industry. With 2022 and 2023 being flat and spot market rates falling below covid levels it was a difficult year but read more on how we stayed competitive and Soko Strong. Less loads  on the market and lower prices were the biggest challenges we faced in 2023.

We wanted to share some of our milestones with you and thank you all for being apart of this journey. We wouldn't be able to reach any of these big milestones without our customers, dedicated drivers, and dispatchers all working hard to build and keep Soko Express going during this market downtrend. Here are some of our top successes of 2023

Looking Back At This Years Review, our drivers have driven over 1 Million Miles. Now that's a lot of miles and time on the road. For our owner-operator related jobs we look to include any empty miles into our bid rates. We delivered over 1,500 shipments for worldclass shippers and brokers. Since this was a market downtrend we had to lower our rates to stay afloat and keep the wheels moving. Our Average dollar per mile was $1.04/Mile Gross. That is a 20 cent decrease from the last year, however with the marketing bottoming out in Q4 of 2023 all experts and predictions are hopeful for a better 2024. 

That means more loads, more miles, and higher per mile price. Lets look forward to the 2024 hot shot market!
