Now we know that trucking rates fluctuate due to seasons and load availability so we train our drivers on simple supply and demand fundamentals so they understand why rates change. We believe this transparency sets us apart from our competitors. For example, in 2019 our median rate was $1.10 a mile however in certain cities freight was very cheap and closer to 70 cents a mile while other cities have better paying rates.
