What Is A Dispatch Fee

CARRIER, DELIVERY, LOGISTICS, SHIPPING, SOKO EXPRESS, SAVING, TRANSPORTATION, OWNER OPERATOR, DISPATCH, FEES

If you want to make it in this business you need to understand dispatch fees and profit sharing.  Drivers seeking a sustainable and rewarding partnership should look for companies who do profit sharing instead of dispatch fees. Stay away from companies who say that they dont take a dispatch fee. First there is no way that company will be in business if they did not take any fees, so they def take a dispatch fee. You have no idea how much they take or make from your hard work!

At Soko Express, transparency is our cornerstone, and we believe in fostering mutually beneficial relationships with our drivers. We offer profit sharing, ensuring clarity and fairness for all parties involved. Everyone knows how much they are making in this relationship.

Dispatch Fees For Owner Operators: Balancing Risk and Reward

At Soko Express, we're committed to building long-lasting partnerships with owner-operators who drive their own sprinter vans. Soko keeps bad drivers away by utilizing a high dispatch fee in the beginning and then over the course of the partnership Soko will lower their dispatch fees while increasing the drivers profit!

Our high probationary period dispatch fee is a deliberate choice aimed at maintaining quality and mitigating risk. This higher rate serves as a filter, keeping not so good drivers at bay while nurturing relationships with trusted brokers. The personal touch you receive from our dispatch team highlights our commitment to excellence as a premium carrier company.

During your first 10 loads (probational period) the owner operator keeps 83% and Soko Express 17%.  After the probationary period is over drivers who demonstrate professionalism, communication, and reliability see a reduction in our fee to 15%. Yes that means you now keep 85% of the gross!

This adjustment not only increases their profit margin but also aligns with industry standards of average sprinter van dispatch fee of 15%. Furthermore, we believe in rewarding great drivers and loyal drivers. After 3 to 6 months of driving for Soko, Soko will once again lower its dispatch fee to 13% while increasing the drivers profits to an impressive 87%. That is an industry high for drivers in expediting!

Profit Sharing: A Win-Win Approach

Our profit-sharing mechanism is where transparency meets incentive. By incentivizing dispatchers to negotiate higher rates for our drivers, we ensure that everyone benefits. For drivers, this translates into a substantial return on investment. Consider this: Our OTR driver who is home for the weekends will gross on average $2,000 per week.  Our profit-sharing model allocates 15% to Soko and 85% to the driver. This equates to $300 for Soko and $1700 for the driver - a remarkable 466% return on investment. That means you invested $300 in Soko, and Soko returned $1700 back in your wallet!

While some may view the initial investment as a cost, successful drivers recognize it as a strategic partnership yielding significant returns. In a landscape where the market is saturated and profitability can be challenging, our transparent approach empowers drivers to make informed decisions. Successful drivers understand the concept of partnership and profit sharing.

Transparency is Key

Unlike other companies that hide fees and earnings, we prioritize transparency. From our website to our communication channels and documentation, drivers have full visibility into the financial aspects of our partnership. We believe that an informed driver is an empowered one, capable of maximizing their earnings and making sound business decisions.
